UGANDA LIAISON INTERN - CURRENTLY ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR IMMEDIATE START, SIX MONTHS TO ONE YEAR
Touch The World Uganda is seeking an outgoing and missions-minded college student or new graduate looking to begin a career in global missions or seeking experience in a christian, non-profit organization. The Uganda Liaison will assist the Uganda Global Liaison at the Touch The World home office in Allendale, New Jersey with duties including but not limited to:
• Coordination of LifeBridge Child Sponsorship Program • Organizing and empowering volunteer "Street Team" • Managing TTW Uganda on-line store and merchandising • Marketing and promotions • Assisting with Global TTWU Missionaries communications to supporters • Recruitment of interns and staff • Overseeing fundraising and awareness campaigns
The individual for this position would need some prior experience working in an office setting, able to work independently, and be gifted in organizational and administrative skills as well as relationship-oriented. This position is a great opportunity to gain deeper exposure to working in a missions organization and could be a springboard for further missions opportunities overseas. The Uganda Liaison Intern would also participate in one short-term missions visit to Uganda during the course of their internship.
Requirements: • Able to work out of TTW Home Office located in Allendale, New Jersey (northeast, 30 minutes outside of Manhattan) • Passion for Africa and a desire to share that with others • Personable, able to engage others in discussion • Organized and detail-oriented, able to work independently

MISSIONS INTERNS - ONE POSITION STILL AVAILABLE FOR SUMMER 2010!
Touch The World Uganda is seeking outgoing and missions-minded college students or new graduates looking for a more in depth experience in global missions. The Missions Intern will assist with the logistics and coordination of mission teams and will also integrate themselves into the team's experience in order to provide assistance through their missions journey. In addition, the Missions Intern will also receive placement with a current community partnered with Touch The World Uganda and will receive in-depth assignments to help further their internship experience and personal growth. Area of placement will be tailored to the applications area of interest and/or study.
Requirements: • Previous experience in missions, preferably internationally (and in the developing world) • Passion for Africa and a desire to share that with others • Personable, able to engage others in discussion • Willing to engage whole-heartedly in a new culture

MEDIA DEVELOPMENT INTERN - NEEDED ANYTIME THROUGHOUT THE YEAR, THREE - NINE MONTHS
Touch The World Uganda is in need of a media artist who is passionate and prolific in graphic design, web development and/or video film & editing. Our ministry holds media in the highest regard and seeks to constantly raise the bar on quality and avenues for communication. This opportunity would allow the intern to experience the reality of Africa and to capture the story of Uganda to share with others.
Requirements: • Passion for Africa & desire to see its story told • Experience in the graphic design or media world • Flexible & Independent Worker • Creative & able to think "outside the box"
